WHO TO BELIEVE?
Olivia thought Robert was dead. A year-and-a-half later and newly widowed, she comes across Robert’s ad for a mail-order bride. Seeking protection for herself and her daughter, she goes after the truth, and gets far more than she bargains for.
Robert believed Olivia never wanted to see him again, and is finally ready to move on from the heartbreak. When Olivia shows up claiming to be his mail-order bride, the sight of her brings back all the pain of losing her the first time. Seeing her with another man’s child adds salt to the wound.
Can this couple move past the pain and betrayal to find new happiness?
I enjoyed this story that involved deceit and misdirection from more than one source attempting to keep two people who love each other apart. Good characters, and insight into the feelings each felt as their relationship grew. A good read.
The author has penned a story of a couple whose relationship was fraught with misunderstandings, betrayal, a baby and a mail order bride ad. This is Olivia and Robert’s story and the character development is very good. Their first chance at happiness fell by the wayside and Olivia, finding herself expecting a baby, married someone else but then is then widowed. She sees Robert’s ad for a mail order bride and responds. Will Olivia and Robert be able to reach a HEA. Be sure to read this book to find out. I enjoyed this book and recommend it.
